Rowan University - Alvin Shpeen Hall

This 30,000 square foot adaptive reuse of a 1917 stone schoolhouse created flexible office space for Rowan University, upgraded an abandoned structure and galvanized the University and Borough’s partnering relationship.  The design completely upgrades the structure to meet modern energy conservation and accessibility codes.  The design layout allows for University offices to temporarily occupy space as on-campus buildings are upgraded.
